Wyffels introduces W26, a unique, high-performance hybrid that storms county test sites, earns the attention of growers, and creates tremendous demand. |

When Bill Wyffels Sr. dies unexpectedly, the family decides to continue on and begins recruiting a team of seed dealers to market the brand to an expanded geographic area. |

Wyffels Hybrids moves from its on-farm home to its new facility in Atkinson, Illinois. |

USDA announces the PIK program to bring corn acres in line with end-use demand. |

Severe drought hits the Midwest. Winter seed production in Florida, Texas, and Argentina allows Wyffels to fill customer needs for 1989 planting. |

Wyffels opens new Research and Development Center in Geneseo, Illinois. |

Wyffels hybrids with herbicide tolerance and Wyffels high oil corn blends are introduced. Wyffels quickly becomes a recognized leader in high oil corn and related services. |

Wyffels' ninth consecutive year of sales growth. Atkinson, Illinois production plant expansion is readied for a record seed harvest in 2002. Construction completed on new corporate headquarters in Geneseo, Illinois.

Wyffels breaks ground on expansion projects at the Atkinson production facility to include a new warehouse and distribution center.
Wyffels' commitment to maintaining a state-of-the-art seed corn conditioning, warehousing, and distribution operation is recognized by Seed & Crops Digest (March/April 2003). |

Wyffels further expands its in-the-seed insect protection options, including elite Wyffels genetics with combined corn borer and rootworm resistance, stacked with herbicide tolerance. |
