Starting with the launch of the "Serving Those Who Serve" initiative in 2019 Wyffels gives employees, seed reps, customers – or anyone throughout the Midwest – an opportunity to serve their farmer neighbors. That’s why we’re proud to continue our support and partnership with Farm Rescue. An organization who has helped over 1,200 farm families in need by providing critical assistance to farmers facing unexpected crises due to illness, injury or natural disasters by providing the support they need to get work done, such as planting, harvesting or feeding livestock.
For the past four years, Wyffels has been a dedicated partner to Farm Rescue, helping ensure that farmers and their families are aware of the offerings Farm Rescue can provide through access to timely, hands-on support during medical emergencies, natural disasters, or other hardships.
This harvest season alone, three Wyffels customers received direct assistance from Farm Rescue —proof that this partnership is making a real difference in our local communities. “Farmers are known for their resilience and independence, but even the strongest among us need help sometimes,” said Rick McCulloh, District Sales Manager at Wyffels Hybrids. “We want to remind growers that asking for help is not a sign of weakness—it’s a sign of strength. That’s what Farm Rescue is all about.” Rick has introduced several customers to Farm Rescue to lend a hand in their time of need.
